How to Choose the Perfect Birthday Cake

The short answer: pick the flavour the birthday person loves (not the one that looks best in photos), allow 500 g for every 4–5 guests, and order by 5 PM if you need it the same day.

Start with the person, not the cake

Chocolate lovers are easy — a classic truffle or KitKat drip never misses. For someone who finds chocolate heavy, fresh-fruit cakes like pineapple or a fruit cream stay light after a big dinner. For the person who has everything, a photo cake printed with an old picture beats any flavour upgrade.

How much cake do you need?

Half a kilo serves 4–5 people, one kilo serves 8–10. When in doubt, size up — birthday cake for breakfast is a feature, not a bug. Most of our cakes offer weight options on the product page, with the price updating as you choose.

Eggless guests?

Nearly every cake we bake has an eggless version (₹50 extra on most bakes) — one cake everyone at the table can eat beats two separate cakes.

Timing the delivery

Order by 5 PM for same-day evening delivery, or by 9 PM for the midnight slot — the doorbell at 12 AM is still the best birthday trick we know. A free message on the cake and a card note are added at checkout.
